In Bengal the swimming pools in the resorts are closed in winter

Travellers flock to different parts of the countryside every time of the year. While in the summer the swimming pools are added attraction, in the winter they are closed. The reasons are that they cannot maintain warm water and all are open air pools. So when day temperature comes down to 10 degree the water temperature remains the same. No person wants to swim in the cold water.

Open swimming pools are not fun in cold temperature. You don't want to freeze in the cold water

@sathviksouvik Oh! That's shocking. I was not aware of that. I avoid swimming in cold water as I often catch cold and cough in cold water and that is not fun.

@sathviksouvik I am not so good with swimming. My daughters and husband are pro and they try all these. I am just like a beginner managing to do some swimming. I can't even complete one lap at a go in a regular swimming pool.

That's just what the resort managers tell you because they don't want Sathvik dirtying up their pristine water in the pools.
I hope you're having a good winter.

@sathviksouvik Personally, the water needs to be about 85 degrees or so for me to really enjoy it.
