In Bengal the swimming pools in the resorts are closed in winter

December 22, 2025 8:04pm CST
Travellers flock to different parts of the countryside every time of the year. While in the summer the swimming pools are added attraction, in the winter they are closed. The reasons are that they cannot maintain warm water and all are open air pools. So when day temperature comes down to 10 degree the water temperature remains the same. No person wants to swim in the cold water. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-VyCNJmNJc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BL-esRFwXec

Open swimming pools are not fun in cold temperature. You don't want to freeze in the cold water

That's just what the resort managers tell you because they don't want Sathvik dirtying up their pristine water in the pools. I hope you're having a good winter.
