Only 997 to Go

It was kind of funny to me. The other day my wife asked me how my YouTube channel, Synthetic Echoes, was doing.
"I only need 997 more subscribers to even be able to think to have a shot to monetize," I told her.
She literally laughed. "You only have 3 subscribers?"
Hey, it's a work in progress and success never happens overnight. I have faith that maybe this channel has more opportunities than others before it have, and I like to think I am talented enough to at least have a shot.
Perhaps that's wishful thinking, but I have heard stranger stories before, so who knows what could happen if all the stars align for me just right.
In any event, I always like to share what I am doing, and so of course, whenever an opportunity arises to do that, I am going to take the leap and do it. It's very interesting to hear my music in ways I never could have hoped to accomplish from my "bedroom studio." To me, it even makes the process of making music that much more fun when I can even have a chance to hear what it might sound like if someone who really knew what they were doing...
Did it. lol
In any event, here's a recent installment of a song I recorded in 2017.

Nice music and very creative video there!!! Those 3 subscribers should be very pleased.

@dgobucks226 Love the quote. It seems to be a perfect quote to fit some of what I am doing as well with the channel and the music. Many of the songs were already written and "done." But many will come from "garbage files," revisited and reimagined. A lot of those were lost and forgotten, but won't be anymore going forward.
Granted, not everything will make the cut. That's why they are garbage files. But looking back at some of them so far and putting finishing touches on them, and then running them through—I have been quite impressed with what's still there.

lol. I suppose on the flipside, if I see 3 turn into 2 and then 1 and then zero...I have something to worry about going forward. As for the videos, it's tough right now using stock footage. Maybe if I can monetize at some point I will be willing to pay for better video content. That seems a long way off, though.
In the meantime, I have many songs in my files to work with to at least put something out there.
