Fishermen and deputies rescue a dog that was in a small island

Thanks to the teamwork of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) and with local fishermen who answered an emergency call two weeks ago when a small French bulldog that was stranded in a small island near the Ribault River. The two fishermen used their boat to rescue the pup that had a hard time to return to the shore since the dog was in the river wet and cold. The fishermen were able to rescue the puppy and take him to land safely, The police took the puppy to Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS) where the police officers decided to name the dog Porky, Porky has been adopted by a loving family in Jacksonville Florida.
