They're rubbing off on me

Today's weather at my house wasn't super warm but there was a bit of sun coming through. Just a bit of sun and my mood is lifted. The walking monks have been on my mind. Much nicer to think about them than nasty stuff from the White House. I went upstairs with some polishing cloths and got busy dusting doors. The sun really made it apparent how much those doors needed attention. I know. Dusting doors sounds this side of loony. These might be original doors to the house. They are solid wood. They needed attention. I also worked on the hallway wood floor while I was at it. About a month ago I found a heavy iron piece of scrollwork at the Goodwill. Hubby got himself outside this afternoon and between us we found a couple of nails in the shed. He pounded two of them in the side of the little shed/house so that we could hang the iron piece. It looks nice and truthfully, gave hubby a project and some satisfaction that he got out and did something. All cats and dogs had some time in the fresh air with us. It's been a good day. I hope the same for you.

@sallypup It was 30 degrees still here at 9am. A balmy 39 by the time we left for Aberdeen close to 2pm. Rain is coming later this week and will "warm" back up. If felt so good in my son's truck today. His seat heaters work better than mine.

@noni1959 Seat heaters. I have never had those though I know somebody who does and she apparently enjoys them. It might be sunny here on Tuesday.

It sounds like an absolutely lovely day! Sadie escaped briefly from my apartment when the people from that church bringing gifts came. Haphazardly dressed me went stumbling out the door after her as we get into trouble for our loose dogs. I noticed then how nice and sunny it was. As much as I miss winter, when I catch a breeze outside it doesn’t seem so bad and hot. Maybe you can post a picture of what you guys did today. It sounds like it would be really cool.

@jstory07 Usually we have freezing temps at night and the grass stops growing. Mowing grass in the winter sounds like living in the tropics to me.

A little sun always lifts my mood. I don't like extreme temperatures. I love sunny warm and breezy day. Good that each one could do something and the cats and dogs too enjoyed some fresh air. Have a good time
