December is a month that's a beehive of activities . Meeting old friends, relatives that we have not seen the whole year. And I have noticed also on December many relationships happen . So am wondering it is casual flings, confusion, lust or true love. Your thoughts are important

I think it's for convenience because people don't want to be alone during the holidays. But those relationships also don't last. When people aren't making the rounds of parties and family gatherings, there's no reason for them to remain a couple.

@Laurakemunto I think that's silly. If you don't want the person after the holidays, how much love do you think is there?
You're well worth loving. Hang on until you find the right man for you.

@Laurakemunto - I am glad that the charities organize Christmas and New Year events and prepare the lunch for those who are alone.

December definitely feels like a beehive of activity, filled with reunions, celebrations, and emotional energy. Most people meet old friends and relatives; memories and feelings often resurface. The festive mood lowers guards and makes people more open, vulnerable, and expressive. Atleast from what I have seen and experienced. This can sometimes lead to genuine connections, but it can also create confusion. For some, it’s nostalgia or loneliness dressed up as romance. For others, it may simply be attraction amplified by the season and social gatherings. It all depends on the circumstances around the person. According to me, True love usually reveals itself over time, not just in a moment of holiday excitement.
December can spark something meaningful, but it also tests once routine returns.
So whether it’s love or a fleeting moment often becomes clear after the festivities fade. Enjoy the time!

This is what they call “cuffing” season. People feel like they want to be with someone into the holidays, and they also don’t want to be alone for Valentine’s Day. However, if those are your reasons for being together, the relationship soon runs it’s course, and ends shortly after that.
