It isn't very cold in here at the moment. The cold air is yet to come..but my hair feels cold. Sometimes in my bedroom, if only the space heater is on or if I have just gone to bed, my hair feels cold. Other parts of me are warm because I am under the covers but my head sticking out causes my hair to feel cold..What about you, warm or cold hair?

@snowy22315 It’s freezing in here. But maybe my hand is so cold my hair seems warm.

I get the cold nose thing too. That's uncomfortable..but not as bad as your hands or feet being cold.

@JudyEv I don't like sleeping with socks on. The electric blanket warms my feet soon enough.

@snowy22315 I can't sleep if my feet are cold. I pull on socks at that stage.

If it is warm enough in your house it shouldn't feel cold

@snowy22315 We are just back from a pretty long walk, my hair had no time to get warm because the apartment is warm inside.

It makes sense. Especially if the rest of your body is warm but your head is exposed. I believe hair can really hold onto the sensation of cold air, even when you’re otherwise comfortable. I’ve noticed that contrast too—warm blankets and a cool draft can make your hair feel icy. It’s interesting how the body can feel both warm and cold at the same time. Ironic in a way. Once the colder air fully moves in, you’ll probably notice it even more. A light cap or pulling the covers up a bit higher sometimes helps with that. It’s one of those small sensations that suddenly becomes impossible to ignore. Right now, it sounds like you’re in that in-between phase before the real cold arrives. Hopefully you’ll stay cozy when the temperature drops further. Take care!

@snowy22315 That's better my friend but I suggest holding on for now and thinking about it in the future.

My mom always complained about her hair and head being cold so she crocheted herself a hat and she wore it all the time. Thankfully my head or hair doesn't get that cold. Usually it's my feet
