Good evening from snowy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's 19 F and feels like -5F.
It's been a good day.
I'm thankful I finally turned the corner on this COVID. I feel better than I have in two weeks. I still have a cough, but even that isn't as bad as it's been. I haven't used the walker nearly as much today as I have in the past two weeks, so things are improving. Now, I can start planning Christmas dinner.
I'm thankful I got the laundry done first thing this morning.
I'm thankful for the nap I got today. It felt good and I know it aided in my recovery.
I'm thankful I bought the Downton Abby movie trilogy. I've seen two of them and today, I saw The Grand Finale. What a marvelous movie and film series. It's sad to think there won't be anymore movies. It makes me want to watch the series over again. Have you seen the series or any of the movies? They're worth watching.
Okay, that's my day. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

I'm thankful Covid is leaving you. I'm also thankful that I got my tired bum out of bed and went to the pool this morning with my hubby. Sure was foggy. I have to maintain routine when it comes to going to the pool or I will quit. I've never watched Downton Abbey though I've heard about it. Is it on the order of Upstairs Downstairs?

Good evening, Valerie! Glad to hear it has been a good one. Turning the corner on COVID after two difficult weeks is truly something to be thankful for. I was glad when I turned negative 3 years ago. Needing the walker less is a meaningful sign of strength returning, step by step. Having enough energy to start planning Christmas dinner must feel reassuring and hopeful. Getting the laundry done early is one of those quiet accomplishments that sets a positive tone for the day. A good nap can be surprisingly powerful, especially when your body is healing. Watching a beloved film series at just the right moment can feel comforting and restorative. There’s something special about stories that make us want to return to them again and again. Today, I am glad to return back to Mylot after 9 months and well slowly getting into things. Enjoy the day!

That is great to hear that you are feeling better. Sounds like a productive day with laundry, and with resting more too.

Today, I’m thankful for the cooler weather. It finally feels like winter here. As always, I’m thankful for my salvation.
