Happy New Years Eve

It's Wednesday and a very Happy New Years Eve to everyone! I finally got to see the sun this morning for a quick minute. It made an appearance and then disappeared once again. Still cold but at least the weather looks clear for the next few days. I don't have any "big" plans for New Years Eve celebrating. I'll be in my pjs and watching the ball drop in Times Square (NYC). The pup and I will be cuddled up on the sofa and maybe only one of us will actually be awake at midnight My daughter is going to a party and it's one of her friends birthdays. She'll be staying overnight so I don't have to worry about her traveling and being on the road. I got my new journal for 2026 and am looking forward to keeping a daily tab on the small goals that I'll set as well as just basically jotting down inspirational quotes, how my day is going, my focus on healthier eating, etc. I kept a journal for all of 2025 and it worked well. Now that the year is ended, I do feel accomplished and it's nice to be able to look back and see what happened throughout the year. This weekend we'll concentrate on taking down the Christmas decorations but will leave the tree up until Jan 6. Half of me will be sad to see it all be put away but once it's all gone the house does seem bigger. My daughter is baking chocolate chip cookies to take to her party and the house smells so good. I'm sure she'll leave me a few before she packs them up. That's about all that's happening here today. Do you have any fun plans for ringing in the New Year?

I will watch the Times Square celebration and hopefully the fireworks around the world as I have in the past. Journaling is great for many reasons. I used to for many years. Glad it is of help to you.

Well, I am currently drinking a cosmo does that count? SJP in her Carrie Bradshaw form will come wafting through the living room I bet.. Other than that, my New Years will be as exciting as yours.

I'm gonna have a blast Of course I'll be asleep long before midnight so my blast might happen at 8pm instead. If I kept a journal it would mostly contain phrases pertaining to what the kritters are doing and the videos I do or don't get, it's that way almost everyday.

I'll be watching the ball drop and maybe eating a PB&J sandwich. Happy New Year's Eve.

No, I’m going to have a quiet evening listening to music, watching livestreams from Florida, and working jigsaw puzzles. Boring old lady.

I'll probably go to bed at about 9 PM and wake up refreshed.

I'll watch the ball drop and then text everyone a Happy New Year. You might be in bed by the time New Year's rolls around here.
