31 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's 8 PM on New Year's Eve.
I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and a wish that your new year will be everything you want.
Today has been a good day. I spent it working on Love's Illusion for the entire day. As I've put it against AI, I'm finding I don't need to do much as the story is very strong. It's not your typical romance as AI continues to show me. I did a wonderful job with this book. I can't wait to bring it to everyone's attention when I finally publish it this next year. I still need a cover for it. I'll get that in the next few days and work on the blurb for it.
I'm also thankful for snow on the last day of the year.
Okay, that's my day. I didn't do a lot, but my brain is full with the work I did.

Good evening to you Valerie! Happy New Year to you as well. It sounds like a deeply satisfying and creative way to spend New Year’s Eve. The confidence you have in *Love’s Illusion* really shines through, and that’s wonderful to hear. Knowing your story stands strong even against AI must feel incredibly validating. In fact, that brings in some major confidence. Getting the cover and blurb done soon will make everything feel very real and close to launch. There’s something special about ending the year surrounded by fresh snow. Even quiet days can be full when creativity is flowing. You clearly gave your mind and heart meaningful work today.
