It's 8 minutes until midnight here in Idaho and I'm watching celebrations in Washington D C., San Francisco, Mexico, Nashville, Seattle, and others. A really pretty fireworks display in Rio. The really cool one was in Dubai. Beautiful colored displays on the tall buildings there. Dancers and a tight rope walker. A couple of skidoo drivers flipping around in the water as well as a guy using a sky board which is a water power flying device. One minute away now.
Happy 2026 everyone. Fireworks going off all over Boise now.

Sounds absolutely fantastic! Great way to welcome the New Year. Watching celebrations from all over the world really makes the moment feel special. The Dubai display sounds especially breathtaking with the lights, dancers, and aerial stunts. I saw few in the news. Fireworks over water always add an extra layer of magic. It must have been exciting seeing Boise light up right at midnight. Those final countdown moments always give a rush of hope and reflection. It’s amazing how the whole world feels connected for a few minutes. I hope the energy of those celebrations carries into the days ahead and hope it will be a great year for all. Happy 2026 to you .Enjoy the time!
