Good morning myLot

Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 20 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is just 34. Ugh. It looks like there was a bit of snow overnight but nothing it coming down now.
I woke up at the usual 5:30am time. I clearly need to get back to work because I thought it was 5:30PM and that today was Saturday. Nope. It is 5:30AM and just Friday. 
I'm good with time off in the summer because I'm outside at the pool, soaking up the sun, and hanging with neighbors. In the winter? Not so much. 
This will be a shocker but I have no big plans for the day. My biggest trip will be taking the trash out to the dumpster. 
I am fine with that. I will keep working on cleaning the carpet and watching the Jack Smith testimony. I'm just about half way through it.
What's everyone else up to today?

It's 24 degrees, very cloudy. No snow and no rain.
My exciting day will be here at home, and a trip down the way to get my gas tank filled up and pick up a prescription. Not exciting, but necessary.

Today cousin #3 is coming over to work. She must need the money. I hope she doesn't cancel again. If she leaves early enough, cousin #2 wants to come over and use my dryer and do a couple of things.

The Jersey Shore still seems to be really cold! It is tough to wake up in morning when it is that cold. But still you managed to wake up at 5:30 which is itself an achievement. Again, feeling like evening when it is actually morning, is often something we feel in cold times. I had a similar experience few days ago. The days do getter shorter in winter perhaps of less sun. In that sense I like Summer or spring better. Having not such things is a big relief at times. We need time to plan and reflect our past and make our present and future better. Working on carpet cleaning sounds productive. Well, I hope rest of the day is calm and all manageable. For me, I have a few things to work upon on immeidate basis . That should keep me busy for sometime. Enjoy the day!
