It's Friday ( I'm so confused )

Happy Friday Everyone! it's cold, cloudy and someone stole my sun. It was so nice having a sunny day yesterday and now today we're back to it being dismal. I don't know which I hate more about winter...all the overcast days or the snow/sleet.
I'm more confused this week as to what day it is than last week when the holidays fell on the same days of the week. Yesterday I thought it was Saturday so today being Friday and my daughter having to work has thrown me off.
We don't have any exciting plans for the weekend unless you count a grocery pick-up and taking down the Christmas decorations exciting and fun. It's always more fun decorating than having to take it all down. Usually we leave the tree up until Jan 6th but I think we'll probably just take it down this weekend and get the house back in order.
I was kind of disappointed to find out our local UPS store is closed as I have packages to send back to Amazon. Guess they'll have to wait until next week as I certainly don't feel like having to go all the way to Khols which also takes back Amazon pkgs.
That about sums up things here.

You would think I wouldn't be confused with the holidays being on the same days but this week really has me mixed up. Half of it is probably due to my daughters work schedule. Some days she worked and today she's only working half day.

There’s a meme on Facebook that describes “the void” between Christmas and going back to work after new year perfectly: “It’s either Thursday, June, or purple.”

Since my kids have been out of school for Christmas break it has been harder to keep track of the days. I have to look at the calender a lot more often and think about it.
We just took our tree down a few days ago.
My stepson leaves tomorrow to go back to California. I have no plans at all this weekend.

I remember those days of trying to keep track of days when the kids have their school breaks.

Sometimes days or weekends with no plans turn out the best.

I wish I could send you some of our sun. Yesterday was cloudy, but despite what the weather people said, the sun is out today. The high will be 65, but we desperately need rain. The fire danger is high.
Today feels so much like Saturday it’s getting me confused too. And with college football on I am REALLY thrown off.
Nothing exciting going on this weekend at all; just a trip to the pharmacy. Which, as you know, is quite the lark.

No snow in our forecast today but here it is with flurries coming down pretty fast. Looks like it gas the potential to stick (ugh)

We have the Grandkids this weekend so it’s an early morning start tomorrow as we have to get Grandson to football practice, get food , pick up Grandson, take granddaughter to dance, get food for Grandson, do a shop, pick up Granddaughter …..then, if the weather is good we might go out somewhere, if not it’s a day at home for us all. Watching tv or playing board games….
