Birds and animals are quite commonly associated with superstition in the Indian society. A cat crossing your path is thought to be a bad omen. So are crows sitting on your house.
A few days ago a cuckoo perched on our house. It was hovering on the house for a long time.
What was it trying to say , any idea?

No idea, I don't know cuckoo language
. But whatever it would have said, it must have been melodious. Crow sitting on the house is not considered bad omen in our place, it is said that some guests are about to come.

@franxav Yes, that might be the reason. I have one nest of Red Indian bulbul in one of the trees in my terrace garden. That's the favorite one for these birds. I get one nest every year on the same spot.

It was saying, "I'm tired and this looks like a good place to rest."
