I have had them before in restaurants, but never attempted one on my own. I was watching them making some tasty ones on the Food Network..and the look really good. I think that will a project for next week. I need some more salad dand fiber during these winter months.

There are some warm winter salads that I like to prepare. I like red radicchio pan fried with walnuts.White endives steamed, wrapped in thinly sliced ham, dusted with grated Swiss cheese and then grilled. Grilled Bell peppers served hot with feta cheese, a little olive oil on top.

@snowy22315 - I also like the warm potato salad, but it's not as good as other vegetables.

Not really, more like Anna described down below. I love German potato salad, haven't had that for years. Hmm,another thing to consider making this coming week.

@snowy22315 I made a garbanzo based salad tonight that could be eaten hot or cold. I used Italian dressing, yellow mustard and sauerkraut juice for sourness and taste. I put cooked cauli and mixed vegies in and walnuts and dried cranberries, onion and celery. I prinkled in a little Feta, too. It was very tasty.
