Maduro Capture, what does it mean to the world?

The US President, Donald Trump openly disclosed to the world that the Venezuelan leader, Maduro had been captured. Before then, days before, Venezuelan vessels transporting oil were captured. so far, no protests about whatever the US is carrying out on Venezuela have been reported by verifiable sources. The world is quiet. No condemnation, no celebration. Of course drugs or narcotics have been mentioned among the reasons for the capture. And to me anybody dealing in smuggling of narcotics is enemy to the present and future of the whole world. Still, I lack opinion on the capture. I am only wondering what kind of message the capture of the Venezuelan president is sending to the world!

@porwest And that's a good reason to do exactly what you want without regard to going about such actions without following guidelines/rules/etc?

@porwest You could be talking about any number of countries with corrupt governments. Is the US going to jump in ahd help them all - or only the ones with massive oil supplies?

I lack any opinion either. I'm not sure what's going on and with Trump leading it all who knows what will come of it.

Well, I think removing him from power is good for Venezuela AND the United States. Unfortunately, Trump did not go about it in the right way. Civilized nations just aren’t supposed to do that.

That is true, reminds me how they did it to Gadhafi.

I can't say what the USA did was right or wrong, but I can say that the world is nearing another world war.

It means the world operates under RULES. It means you can't just do what you want and take the rest of the world down with you for your own gain. It means America is back and we're not letting anyone just run rip shod. You're going to follow the rules, you're going to do good, you're going to be a positive force in the world, and you're not going to do things that kill people... And if you do? You will be stopped.
