Surprises Galore

Went to AmVets and little did I know, that Tom had spoken to a friend of mine and gave her money to get a cake.
I walked into the AmVets and was confronted with Birthday Balloons and a free Diet Coke. Then one lady came and showed me a picture of the gift she got me, but it didn't come when it was supposed to. She got me a Squirrel feeder that looks like a Picnic table and has an umbrella on it. It attaches to the tree. Nutty and Buddy will think it was Their Birthday. 
Another lady got me an insulated cup. Another got me a bag of Nacho Cheese Bugles, Lemon Cookies, a flash light, and a scratch off ticket (no winner). Then another lady had not heard anything about the little party and she brought me $20 worth of Pull Tabs from the machine...again..No Win. But even though I didn't win any money...I sure had a good time.
Tom took one of the balloons and inhaled the air from it and started talking like a Chipmonk. He usually has a really deep voice. Everyone laughed. Really had a good time and a memory I won't forget.
For supper we stopped at Tarpon Dock Seafood and Tom bought us some steamed shrimp for supper. Nothng else..just steamed Shrimp.
Doing the Happy Dance for Sure!

I did..thought it was just gonna be me and 1 or 2 ladies, but turned out to be several I did not expect.

When they steam them they put Old Bay seasoning on them. I like steamed better than fried.

Looks like the birthday celebrations are still on. That was a genuinely heartwarming and unexpected birthday surprise. They clearly wanted to make your day special. The squirrel feeder picnic table with an umbrella is such a nice gift. An insulated cup is always useful, and the snacks are nice to have little later. Even if the ticket didn’t bring any winnings, the excitement and laughter were clearly worth far more than money. It’s especially touching that someone who didn’t even know about the party still wanted to contribute to your happiness. Tom’s chipmunk voice moment must have been hilarious, especially knowing he usually has such a deep voice. Steamed shrimp for dinner was a nice choice. Sometimes simple meals are the best ones. I too had a busy day, but then little expensive and tough day as well. Enjoy the time!
