I woke up with a cramp in my leg this morning. That was fun...not!! I guess I stretched my leg too far or something. I haven't had a leg cramp for years, but they can be so painful. It took awhile for my leg to get back to normal. I'll never forget what a friend told me once..she said that she was with some friends at a drum and bugle corps and one of the musicians got an intense leg cramp and fell on the ground because of the pain..People were gathered around trying to help, and she said you could actually see where the muscles were sucked in. Now, that is a cramp! Do you ever get them?

I remember watching Ridiculousness, and this guy had a cramp in his calf. The involuntary ripples in his leg looked like an alien was inside him. My dad gets them in his legs and hands, but they have gotten better since his doctor told him to take Magnesium Glycinate. His hand contorts so oddly when he gets a hand cramp though. I hope you don’t get another cramp any time soon. They’re so painful!

You are right leg cramps are painful, I almost never have cramps. When it happens (leg cramp) I pull the tip of my foot towards me and keep until I feel better. It works.

@snowy22315 - It's the only system I tried that works. I am glad your leg is almost normal now.

I guess it just got in the wrong position somehow. Hope I won't have another one for another 5 years.

I haven't had one of those in a long time but I can still remember the pain. I don't know how true it is but I heard that eating pickles can help avoid leg cramps.

I get them in bed from time to time. I wriggle around in bed trying to get rid of them without having to get out of bed.

Sorry about that. I usually get the cramps but it takes a while I attest they can be extremely painful

I always have a plan but certain circumstances are just beyond planning for. One needs to adjust and re-adjust plans as things unfold.
