The man is pathetic. He has been coveting the Nobel Peace Prize for almost a decade. I think deep down it is because Obama won it and Trump's mission is to undo everything that Obama ever did.
He is furious that he didn't receive the Peace Prize this past year despite the fact that he wasn't even eligible for it. Venezuelan resistance leader Maria Corina Machado received it. Obviously Trump just launched an attack on Venezuela and abducted their leader Maduro and his wife. For now Maduro's 2nd in command is at the helm but it seems to be an interim position. He wouldn't support Machado as the successor and said that it was because she wasn't popular and didn't have support. Um WUT?
The reality is that he is salty because Machado received the Peace Prize and he didn't. He expected her to decline it and say that Trump deserved it. She did sort of cave and she dedicated it to him but it is still hers. Well now she is supposed to meet with Trump next week and say that she wants to give it to him or share it with him at the very least. That is obviously a move at his pathetic ego so he will support her as the future leader of Venezuela. And it would work.
The Nobel Institute is like "not so fast". That isn't how it works. You can't decide to give away the prize or share it with someone. Their statement includes the following: “A Nobel Prize can neither be revoked nor transferred to others. Once the announcement of the laureate(s) has been made, the decision stands for all time. As for the prize money, the laureate(s) are free to dispose of it as they see fit.”
So the Big Baby in the White House may be given the actual medal and Machado may say it is his or she is sharing it with him but it means NOTHING. It is just a political ploy that means nothing. Trump will love it though just like he loves that stupid FIFA Peace Prize.

Yes, the Nobel institute stated to give it away is meaningless and they would not honor that. But often if babies whine enough, they get their way so that they will stop whining...for a minute, anyway.
