Good morning myLot

Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a god start. It is 43 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is just 48. Ugh. I was up in the middle of the night but eventually fell back asleep. I woke up at 7am. It was so dark I thought it was 7pm. I can't wait for longer days. Driving to work in the dark is the worst. No big plans for the day. I need to do some laundry. I'm going to make my dad's bolognese. I like to remember him through food. Well I like to remember him in any way I can. In any case I'll prep for the work week. We have a full week but then a 3 day weekend I think. What's everyone else up to today?

Good morning. It is 25F in my part of Missouri this morning. Our high is supposed to reach 47F by this afternoon. It's just starting to get light here and I can see cloudy skies above us. I agree, driving in the dark is dangerous for me now. I can't see the lines on the highway or turns if they aren't lit up. I've stopped driving if it isn't broad daylight. As far as I know, we don't have any plans for today. I hope you have a good day.

48? I'll take it. Today's high here is 1°C/34°F, currently 0°C. You get MLK day off? The Lunatic in Chief hasn't cancelled it yet? I'll water my house plants but other than that, I have no plans, maybe read something.

A three day weekend sounds really nice. I’m sure all the teachers are ready for it. My dad is coming over after church to watch the Bills play the Jaguars in the playoffs. Hoping the Bills win.

I went to lunch with enough layers of clothes on to open my own Goodwill store. I came home and I’ve cleaned out the laundry basket and cleaned a little in the junk room. Waiting for the last load to finish to hang them up and then take a nap. My car service appointment is Thursday, then on the 28th I have my last appointment for awhile and I’ll do the “Boat Drinks” shout.

I'll get my jigsaw finished today then do some cleaning. That's the plan at the moment anyway.
