I do not like to overstuff my Subway sandwich. / myLot

It's mid-afternoon and I thought to get my late lunch at the nearest Subway. I ordered a BLT sandwich and apple flavored tea. Staff asked if I want all the veggies in my sandwich. I said "nope, just onions, tomatoes and lettuce." And how about the dressing? Would I like a combination of this and that dressing? I couldn't decide, so I said just put some mayo. I love their BLT here, and the egg mayo too. I've learned to not overdo my ordered sandwiches because they seem to taste weird when there's olives, jalapeno, etc etc. in them. It's like I'm eating the war of the worlds.

Anyway, I brought my laptop with me. I've been so bored in the condo unit. My kids won't be home until 5 or 6 p.m. The eldest has a class at Uni until 5 in the afternoon, and the second daughter attends the after-school drama club that runs for like 2 hours. I was supposed to have an online meeting with a writer-friend at noontime, but he woke up really late and wasn't in the proper headspace to discuss a project. How's your week going?

We had a Subway sandwich last week, and it was so delicious because my mom reheated it in the oven. I love the mayo dip.

I haven’t had Subway in a really long time, and right now I really want a sandwich. I tell you, I think you’re going to be directly responsible for me buying a sub sandwich for lunch in a few hours.

I agree, a Subway sandwich can have too many different types of veggies added to it and can taste strange. I just like meat, some spinach (instead of lettuce) and mayo on my sandwiches. (That's how I make them at home, too.) I hope your daughter is doing well at uni and your second daughter is enjoying drama club.

I spent the afternoon reading an ebook on my phone and talking with a mechanic who was working on my car in the driveway at my house. Around 4 pm, he took the battery out of the car and said he'd take it to the garage and put the battery on their charger there since he couldn't jumpstart it... Around 6 pm, I called the garage and asked how much longer they thought it would take and the person who answered the phone said he'd check and call me right back. (The garage normally closes at 6 pm.) I waited until 7 pm and then got in bed but was still awake and talking on myLot. I assumed they'd either call me or ring the doorbell if they came back to work on the car some more. No phone call and nobody rang the doorbell. I fell asleep around 9 pm. *shrug*
