Showering or taking a bath? What do you prefer?

I usually shower every day. It's faster and i can feel warm water very directly or it's only in my mind. Still, if i don't forget, once a week, i like taking a bath and relaxing myself. I also add some sea salt, that i bought in a store and i must say, it makes me sleepy and i sleep really good at night. I would like to do that every day but i think i wouldn't ever leave the bathtub How about you?

I prefer to have a bath, because I like to relax in the hot water for a while.

@Ineeddentures - Usually half an hour, I feel that the skin needs to soak to remain elastic.

Well to be honest I do prefer to have a bath but I use the shower for quickness. But our shower costs more to use be abuse it's electric, which is more expensive than using the bath where the water is heated by gas

I only shower. It doesn’t matter how often I scrub my bathtub, I always think of all the other people who have been in that tub. So I stick to showering.

Baths are the only safe option for me. Even using a shower chair I find my legs feel like jelly afterwards. At least with the bath, the water cools down after a while, and my body can better adjust to the change in temp. Had a hard time explaining it to the camp counsoulrs at summer camp when I refused to shower when the tub was in use.

@valherma00 It's okay I guess. I've always had trouble communicating with people. Part of the brain damage I guess.

@kaylachan my eyes always tell how irritated i am with some people so i understand you. also, it's also about them and their energy; some just like bossing us around.

Bathing is so relaxing, but I can't do it to clean myself, because then I'm just stewing in my dirt, right? So I usually take a shower. I like the way they do it in Japan - their bathrooms are set up so you can actually wash yourself in an open area and then climb into the hot tub to soak and relax.

Actually, I prefer both. When I am in a hurry, I take the shower. For relaxing, bathing is for me to enjoy.

I prefer bathing. Bathing with cold water. A cold bath makes me feel fresh Before bathing I rub my body with dry palms from head to toe. It ensures proper blood circulation. And yes, like you, I also mix sea salt with water.

@valherma00 I understand. You are living in a country where the temperature falls down and the weather is mostly cold. Here in our country we have 50 plus C in summer and mostly 20 C in winter. Bathing in cold water is our necessity.
