The whole thing is insane. I don't know what his dementia-ridden obsession is with Greenland which is part of Denmark and our NATO ally.
Republicans are speaking out against his threats to annex the island by military force. Good for them. Some of them are the more reasonable ones--Lisa Murkowski and Don Bacon. Others are more surprising like Mitch McConnell and John Kennedy. They are warning that Trump will be impeached if he decides to take over Greenland.
Trump has already been whining about the fact that he will be impeached if the GOP gets destroyed in the 2026 midterm elections. If he goes after Greenland he will surely be cooked. First president to be impeached 3 times.

Impeached? Wiki defines impeachment thusly: "In the United States, impeachment is the process by which a legislature may bring charges against an elected member of the executive branch or an appointed official for severe alleged misconduct, and may result in removal of the guilty from their position after the consequential trial."
So, if he's already been impeached twice but still is in office, what difference would a third impeachment make?
Oh, I see... "may result"... operative word being MAY.
Any bets?

I am actually worried more about military. Alot of the top resigned over this stuff. Congress does not matter, the last 4 presidents they reserved it for the President to make the decision, basically giving away their power in the name of stealth.
That being said I do not trust our Military leaders right now because they are not being neutral. and that is the most scary thing for us and the world. They not following the constitution and listening to their oath.

He seems to think if he wants a country he can get it. If they say they aren’t for sale it doesn’t seem to matter to him. He is like a toddler who wants something right now, and screams and cries until he gets it. The US is at the boiling point. But he says it’s not. Insanity!
