The head maintenance guy has retired

My downstairs neighbor knows everything about everyone around here. She came up here to get her Christmas gift from my sister the other day and she told me that Ted has retired. I knew something was up because his pickup truck has been in the same spot for the past 2 weeks. I thought he was just on vacation but nope. He retired. I had no idea. Yes he certainly looked like he was at retirement age but I wasn't expecting that. He lives in the complex. Or at least he did. I'm curious about if he moved out. You'd think that his neighbors would still be asking him to help fix stuff even now that he's done. It will be interesting to see who they get to replace him. There are 2 other maintenance guys but they aren't the "boss". I like Ted and will miss having him on hand to help deal with maintenance issues.
