Brrrr A Cold Day Ahead

Happy Monday Everyone! with the freezing cold and snow it's definitely an inside day.
My daughter is off from work since it's MLK and a holiday. Originally we had plans with my older daughter to go to Target and Bobs Furniture and then have lunch somewhere but the roads are slippery so we're not going out. My daughter went to Sams Club earlier for a pick-up and said the roads and parking lots were horrible.
At least we have a good supply of food for the week even though our plans got changed.
My older daughter is staying home and although I'll miss having a girls day it's better for everyone to stay put.
I'll probably read my book and crochet for fun unless my daughter comes up with something really good to watch on tv.
Nothing exciting going on here today but I'm glad my daughter has the day off.
I'm sure I can even talk her into cooking dinner

I am sorry to hear the girl’s day is off, but you are right; it is just not worth the risk. But yay that your daughter gets a day off work!
It’s 35 degrees right now, but snow isn’t due until Friday. I’m not doing anything in particular today other than surveys and reviews.

My daughter is happy to have a nice 3 day weekend even though she had to add some shoveling to her day off today

It’s supposed to be really cold here tomorrow my cousin said. I’m planning to take my sisters kitten to my cousin who will be adopting her.
Today I had to take my little one to the walk in she’s got an infection just as she was getting over Influenza A 
.

It sounds like a nice relaxing day! =) I hope you enjoy it. It was quite cold for here overnight and this morning, 27 degrees. For the South, it was chilly for sure!

I had a specialist appointment early this morning. I don't need surgery on my eyelids after all. 
(My eyes aren't bad enough that the insurance will pay for surgery. 
)
We started the day at 13F and flurries but no accumulation. Our high today is supposed to reach 25F and it might do that. We're home from the doctor's office and ready to go to sleep.
Pretty was worrying about me. My BP when we got home was 88/70 and I wasn't feeling right. She says I wasn't making sense on the way home. Normally, my BP is on the high side of the scale. I ate some lunch and am in bed and feeling better now.
