Rain is on the way

Just when I thought that I might get some stuff done outdoors this week
We get a yellow warning for Rain from Wednesday until Friday.
Not good. Totally fed up with this weather and so is Yvonne. She wants to go out in the garden but it's sodden and.going.to get a lot more sodden if this weather warning is correct.
So I might just be here quite a bit on Wednesday Thursday and Friday.
We have had a lot of rain lately and more rain falling on top of wet ground will cause flooding no doubt.
Have you had a lot of rain where you are?

We are expecting rain …it’s The Misters last week of holiday so it would be nice to go out in good weather.

What does that look like in January in your neck of the woods.
Good weather here just now is an hour or two without rain.
I hope the two of you do get some good weather

Rain is good though otherwise there may be a drought. We had plenty of rain here. Now it’s snow.

@Ineeddentures snow in New York is beautiful until they put salt everywhere and it becomes dirty and slushy.

So sorry to hear about all of the rain you will be getting. We have had more this winter than in years past. I live in an area that definitely floods a lot as well.

I must go to the garden and see what sort of mess the garden is because of all this rain.
It rains quite often here.
I quite enjoy mowing the grass.
I have a manual mower that I have to push.
It's not difficult and it gives me some exercise

@Ineeddentures Here, they are building on wetlands and swamps. Draining it first of course but torrential rain might see it all revert to its earlier 'wetness'. I'm glad you're not at risk. We've just heard a town on our south coast has been evacuated because of a bushfire.

I sure hope Winter doesn't last longer than these 58 days.
I reckon we are about 80 days from Yvonne being able to get out most days
She may well get out some days in February if it gets above 10C

The rain should be gone by then, replaced but freezing temperatures and mountains of snow.
