You can't leave them alone at all. Mine smoked up the whole house today. He set the fuel oil heater on fire in the basement. Yes we needed heat down there as the water line had froze overnight. But we didn't need a smoke filled house. Now I will be dusting a lot of areas again.
It was only minus 4 when I got up this morning. Two hours later it is now 5 above zero F. So we are in a heat wave
. Except for dusting I don't plan to do anything except my walking.
Hope you have a good day.

Oopsie! I'm sure he didn't think you're doing enough around the house.

See, this is why you should watch football. You’d get some excellent pointers from the kickers on how to kick his @$$!

Mine opens cupboard doors to take something out ….mug , plate etc … and leaves them open…I walk in the kitchen sometimes when he has cooked and you would think the house was haunted and the spooks had been playing games …cupboard doors and drawers open everywhere….

@wolfgirl569 he opened the freezer one time and left the door open. It was the big freezer in the garage . He opened the door at 4.30 am on Monday morning before he went to work. I didn’t need to get anything from the freezer til Tuesday teatime ….5pm ….obviously everything had thawed and had to be thrown away !

Oh dear.
Easy to do though, I have set a few parafin heaters on fire in my time. Really smokey, and the house smelled of paraffin for days but it's a nice smell.
Dusting is fun too.
I have one of those dust catching fluffy things that dusts around objects so I don't have to move anything

They don't seem any worse than normal this past week. I did keep opening the bay window until I got too cold each time

Oh dear that's all you need!
It's probably no consolation but our neighbour's husband has actually set the house on fire twice! Once he set fire to the kitchen and caused quite a lot of smoke damage. Not long after they had had all that repaired, they had a chimney fire, and had to call the fire brigade again!

That's because woman allocate all the 'big jobs 'to men so if they do go wrong they dont get the blame
