Two Solon Ohio Police Officers named Sergeant Alex Leimeister and Patrolman DJ Sheldon answered an emergency call on Monday December 15 when a man suffered a heart attack at a manufacturing plant in the break room.
Both police officers used first aid equipment like cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and an automated external defibrillator (AED) before the Solon Fire and Emergency Medical Services came to the plant and take the man to a local hospital where the heart attack victim made a full recovery.
Both officers were recognized by their superiors with an award at police headquarters on Tuesday for saving the life of someone who needed their help.
