Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 51 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. The low for tonight is 23. Ugh. Work was fine today. The heat was working which is always a good thing. Tomorrow is Friday but unfortunately not payday. Still it will be nice to get out of there tomorrow and start what looks like is going to be a long weekend. I have 2 hours of tutoring this afternoon. As predicted I never heard anything from the student's classroom teacher. After that I need to finally get around to cleaning up the candle wax debacle. I planned to do it last night but the dishwasher wasn't cooperating so I didn't have a clean spatula to work with. (I forgot that I have a bench scraper) Then I'll figure out something for dinner. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

Well, I just heard my neighbor hark and spit it out in front of my door. Wonderful thing to hear and later see. It’s really sunny out there so Sadie and I went out on a long walk since walks will likely be scarce this weekend. It’s 55 degrees now, but we all know what’s coming. Good luck with the tutoring.

I’ve managed to stay out of bed for nearly six hours, and I feel good (not in the “yippee, let’s go run a marathon” way but in the sense that I don’t feel drained from being up that long). Time for a nap!

Good afternoon. We're at 46F this afternoon and there are plumbing trucks that have my driveway blocked off from the street. I've been listening to them make loud noises out there for several hours already. (The new neighbors are also doing construction in their front yard. They're building a fence around it for their dogs. I think they're also the ones who are having plumbing work done.) I made pasta with hamburger this afternoon to stick in the fridge along with hamburgers just in case we lose power over the weekend and I can't cook anything. (I can always freeze anything we don't eat for days when I can't see to cook.) I'm looking to see what else I can cook now, just in case. I hope you have a good afternoon. Screenshot is mine.
