Had My Doctor Visit

I have been talking about this new doctor. I had to change doctors because the place where I used to go no longer took my insurance. I went through several days of trying others all to come to the realization I was just going to have to find another doctor and facility. Sad to leave my other doctor that I had been seeing for years but hey, life is just that way sometimes. I was lucky to come across one that gives you a choice of either coming out to your home or seeing you in the office. I chose coming to my home.
So, I've been a little nervous about meeting my new doctor, having him come to my home and such as that. Well, today was the day. I hoped he wouldn't be old and have an attitude. He isn't. He's good looking and has a sense of humor. We really hit it off. I had him laughing and we had a nice visit. He even said that I am a lot better off (clarity and body-wise) than many of his other patients who are 74 or so. That made me feel very good. He had left his meds kit at the previous appointment so he could only check my lungs and heart. He said my heart was strong and my lungs were totally clear. Good! So he is going to have a nurse come out to do a bloodletting and we will see what is going on inside for sure.
Oh, my goodness. I feel really good. He answered so many questions and made me feel really good about my present overall health from what he could see. We'll see how the blood work looks and I am off and running.

I know in-home visits are a dying art. I'm glad you were able to get a nice in-home visit.

That always helps to like your doctor, and best of luck with the blood work. As long as your ticker keeps ticking, you should be just fine.

@celticeagle I don't blame you. I saw a new dermatologist closer to my home (36 miles verses five hours), and was so anxious. She was amazing. I hope you continue to have good care.

I'm glad you like each other and he gave you some good news you weren't expecting. I'm sure your blood screen will come back fine, too.

It really has too. I was worried that the change to a male would tough but it wasn't at all.
