Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 11 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The snow is supposed to hit tonight so it should be clear today but just cold. I woke up at the usual time even though today is Saturday and I don't have work. Oh well. I can always nap later if I want to. No big plans for today as per usual. I have groceries being delivered this morning. The cleaning lady is coming at some point today. I never know when she will show up. I did get all of the candle wax cleaned up finally last night so she won't have to deal with that. I'm sure I'll get up to something in the kitchen today. I might try to do sourdough starter again. I keep failing at keeping it going but I have a lot of the rye flour left to get it going. I'm also considering making a milk bar birthday cake since I have all of the ingredients on hand already. We shall see. What's everyone else up to today?

That cake looks amazing. I hope your store had everything in stock for your order. I only had one thing out of stock when I made an order the other day. Other people on Mylot seem to have good luck with their grocery orders too. I’m not sure if my dog will even want to step outside to pee today (yay pee pads) so I imagine I’ll just do a lot of surveys, and wait for the second bout of the snow.

My cat Sandy wouldn't use a litter box to pee. (crapping was fine) I trained him to use pee pads. It was crazy.

Good morning... We ended up still being in the "ice zone" after all. We got sleet yesterday and then snow on top of that. It is 5F this morning with a strong wind blowing. The RealFeel is -14F right now. And, it's still snowing... I don't have any plans for today so may just read and nap the day away. I'm certainly not going outside! I hope you have a good day.

@NJChicaa I moved our dumpster up beside the porch so we could start getting rid of all the cardboard boxes Pretty wants to keep in the living room... She says we might need them if she decides to return something. Six months is surely enough time to decide if she doesn't want to keep things, in my opinion.

Good Morning from the miserable UK. Wow that’s cold! It about 5C here (41F), so relatively balmy. I’m currently watching a cookery show called “James Martin’s Saturday Morning”. Have you heard of him? He also has guest chefs on every week. Today he has an Indian chef called Asia Khan on the show, and she is grumbling about air fryers entering Indian kitchens. Do you have one? I don’t, but they are meant to be a game changer.

I got an air fryer back in the day and hated it. When I moved out of the house that was one of the only kitchen things I left for my ex. hahahaha
