Snow, snow everywhere and oh the boards do shrink...
All night long, the house was creaking and snapping and generally complaining about the arctic weather. I'm not sure how low the mercury dipped last night, but this morning it's -17°C!! but at least the sun is shining. Unfortunately, more snow is forecast for tomorrow. 
I don't know how those boys expect to install my new windows and doors Tuesday.

That is a bit nippy... I hope you're warm enough and don't need to go out in the snow for anything.
We were at -15C when I took my morning meds at 5 am but we're up to -13C now. (That's our high for the day.) We may have about 4 inches of sleet/snow on the ground and the forecast says we may get another 5 inches of snow on top of that today and more tomorrow.
We have a cold wind blowing this morning, too.

We're at -12°C now, but the high will only be one more degree (-11°C). Doesn't appear to be windy but it is clouding up.

@BarBaraPrz We're fine, thanks. If anything, we're too warm... The heat is set for 69F/21C but the bedrooms are always at 74F/23C. I need to figure out why that happens.

Glad we are not so arctic; it was bad enough we were in the 30s. Now temps are up but next week they will be down again.

You shouldn't be that cold in Florida... that used to be a place to get away from the cold.

@BarBaraPrz it has gotten crazy; we now have two days in the 80s and 70s and on Tuesday it plunges into the 40s and you wonder why I'm dizzy.

Our deck boards BANG when it gets really cold. It scares the heck out of me. The contractor can't do any of the outside work until the weather breaks.

Yeah, I don't know what's going to happen here Tuesday. Last I heard was that they expect to show up 9 am.

Wow! That's cold! Even your home is saying enough is enough, lol. We are in the teens here. Getting 7 inches of snow for tomorrow's forecast.

There's a couple feet at the end of my walkway, with more to come.
Sounds like your house was grumbling like a giant winter troll all night. Let’s hope the window crew is tougher than it is!
