Last time I was looking for a book I wanted something gripping, and I found it with Don't let her Stay, about a woman being gaslit, by her lung adult step daughter. Almost everyone gave this book 5 stars and called it unputdownable..and I would go along with that. Are you reading anything good?

@snowy22315 I might save it for tonight. I just took a break from an art project. I’m trying to pace myself since they said we might be stuck here until Tuesday. I have a doctor appointment Wednesday so hopefully it will be clear.
Thanks for the encouragement to read the book. Too much Ridiculousness rots the brain. And too many surveys has me resenting people who make up those beginning questions on when I think I’ll die.

@AmbiePam I really don't think we are going to get much in terms of snow accumulation which is good, but the ice is an other matter..Especially with the cold temps it will linger. I really am a bit worried, and I have to keep he heat on which I am certain is costing a fortune.

I have quite a few really good books to read; but I haven't been able to commit to reading them. One of them is 11/22/63. A guy goes back in time to try to stop the assassination of JFK.

Yes, I'm now reading a very good book on the history of my country I bought the book from a book store. The book is mainly about the medieval history of India.

Nope.
These days I am not much of a reader at all to be honest.
I used to read a lot.
Then I discovered computers.

I certainly don't read like I used to, but I can get into a good yarn. I think it is part of being well rounded.

I haven’t read anything for a long long time. However I do plan to read more in the future. My Mom has given me loads of books she has finished with …..they will keep me going for a couple of years.

I often seek out books that have settings in the past, I enjoy history so that is what I read the most. I don't like books that are scary or keep me on the edge of my seat, or have horrid murders, etc. Heck, there is enough of this in the real world without me reading it in a book. But we all like different types of stories and different authors and books.

I used to love watching the ID channel, all types of crime shows. Something made me not like them anymore, not sure just what, but I honestly think there are so many day-to-day tragedies, it's all my mind and heart can handle right now.
