What this morning looks like.

We had more snow overnight, which brought us up to 7 inches (my sister’s area got more). The picture is the view from my “patio” door to the back. At 4:16am, it is 7 F (-14 C) outside, with more snow expected in a few hours. I didn’t sleep well, but I think it’s because the heating pad, of course, turned itself off, and I had been getting used to the heat helping my neck. I’m sure I’ll be getting a nap. I’ll just be watching two NFL playoff games today. Hope you guys have a good one! *That is a picnic table by a very tall tree.

I can't take pictures through a screen window, either. Mine just shows screen... I have to open a door if I want a picture outside and it's too cold to do that. We have about a foot of snow on the ground with it still falling. I hope you and your dad have a good time watching the game(s).

While the sight of such snow looks pretty, I suppose, it is not something to relish with such a low temperature and such extreme cold providing challenges when out. I suppose it also means that your winter electricity bill would have gone drastically up. Stay warm & healthy.

It will probably be higher, but not any higher than the summer bill. It is very pretty outside right now with the snow and sun.

I don't plan on getting dressed today. What's the point? They're asking people to stay off the roads. We got about 3" so far, expecting 7" more today but it's been sleet the for past several hours. I'll try to take a photo
