Keychain digital camera anyone? Currently, eyeing this tiny low resolution digital camera that fits in your pocket. At $35 it's an expensive keychain but cheap as a camera. What makes me attracted to this one in particular is the vintage looking tiny camera giving me a nostalgic feeling. Remember Kodak flick in 1987? This was patterned after that but instead of being disposable, this one stores photos and videos using a micro sd card. As a young kid I was already into cameras and had wanted to get the Kodak flick but mom said it was expensive (that was always her excuse when she didn't want to buy me anything). So now I'm contemplating of whether to get one or more of the Kodak Charmera. Would you be interested in this super tiny camera that takes pictures and videos too?

We used so many of those disposable Kodak cameras during our travels. They made decent photos, now all the photos are scanned on my Hard Disk.

I was 11 when my mom bought me my very very first camera and I would take lots of photos and have them developed. But no matter how much I asked for the disposable one, she would never get me one.

@LadyDuck I also wanted a Polaroid when I was young because my mom's uncle had one and would show them to me. So when I was into journaling and making scrap books, I bought two instax mini cameras. I gave one to my niece a few years ago because I wasn't using it anymore.

@toniganzon - I do not remember when my parents bought me my very first camera. For sure disposable ones did not exist when I was young.

It sounds super cool, but I doubt I’d buy it due to lack of practicality. But if I could find a decent reason to need it, and I had the money, I’d go for it!

True. If one doesn't have an extra, this is not a practical buy at all. First of all it's low resolution at only 1.6 while there are second hand cameras that are way better at the same price. This camera is like a toy camera and a collectible. It comes in a blind box which means you won't have any idea what design you'd get till you unbox it. And since blind box is such a big trend, this one sells fast even though it's such a terrible camera.

It's actually impractical to buy this camera for non collectors. Especially now that people have their phone camera with a way much better resolution. But if you just want to have something cute or if you collect cameras, this would be a nice addition.

@JudyEv right. This one is actually for collectors. It comes in a blind box actually and there are too many designs including a secret one. What makes people buy this is the idea o not knowing what design you're gonna get and not really as a camera. It's more of a toy accessory and probably this one will become a collector's item. More of a toy than a real camera that's why it's called CHARMERA. A bag charm.

@toniganzon Not really. I have a nice little camera so don't need another. And I have access to a fancy one if I want it.

LOL, "Charmera" is a cute name. That's kind of expensive for me, though. I have great memories of my Polaroid instant camera I had when I was a kid!

Yes, I think they named it charmera because it's a bag charm and a camera in one. A cute bag accessory. They come in too many designs and in a blind box so you'll never know what you're gonna get. Which makes it even more fun to collect.

I really do get taken back on time looking at that camera. I haven't seen a Kodak like that for decades. I remember winding films onto cameras. That was a long time ago too

I remember that too. I miss those film cameras. Though I could still get one nowadays, it's just more pricey than taking pictures with my phone. This Charmera though has its unique charm coz it comes in a blind box so you'll never know what design you're gonna get. And it's super tiny and can be used as a bag charm.

Same here and the iPhone takes a much better photo and videos than this one. But Kodak Chaermera has its CHARM because it comes in a blind box so you'll never know what design you're gonna get and there's a surprise one too. just like the labubu. And it's just too cute.
