Stupid Florida Hairdresser ~ Ruined My Hair Color!

Nobody does it better than my Connecticut hairdresser.
Finding a good hairdresser in Florida has been rough, but I found one that I have been using for at least 6 years. Last week he colored, highlighted, and cut my hair. It looked great in the mirror. Left a too hefty tip, hugged goodbye, and off I went after being there for four long hours as usual.
At home, I noticed that my color looked different, so I tried different mirrors with different lighting. My hair was dyed brown underneath and appeared to have dark brown roots!
I texted him immediately and set up an appointment for this afternoon.
He did see me on Friday when I was at the salon for my eyebrows and monthly facial. He apologized profusely and tried to figure out what went wrong. Sheesh! Stupid indeed.
He will get one chance to repair his horrible mistake or I’m outta there!
Have you ever had mistakes made to your hair whether by cut, style, or color? Hubs hated my bangs that just grew out, and the really short cut I had years ago. He said that I looked like a mouse

He was daring to call you a mouse!
I hadn’t had one as a grown adult, but my sister did. She went to get it dyed her (then) usual blonde, and told the lady not to use a certain dye because it would give her an orange “under hue”. The stylist did not listen, and she was left with a blond with an orange color underneath. Quite a feat! Of course, the stylist then reversed course, but she ended up being there all day to get it done, and then getting it done right.

Yes, a mouse for almost 2 months!
. He likes me in longer hair.
What a disaster for your sister! I certainly can relate. One would hope a hairdresser would know what to do and to listen to their clients. Your sister was lucky that her hairdresser was able to fix it. I hope mine can, too. Besides, what my CT hairdresser can do in1 1/2 hours takes this idiot 4 hours. Such a waste of time!

A mouse..
. The last time I had mine cut, it ended up way too short. NOthing annoys me as much as having it too short. The only good thing about it, as I haven't needed one for a long time. Your hair looks fine in the pic.

My best friend since High School fixed my hair all the time. She went to Beauty School and did a really good job every time.
I have found no one that good here.

That's why I only go to my trusted stylist. During the pandemic, we experienced the longest lock down ever. More than a year. I couldn't visit my stylist as we weren't allowed to go out and their salon was closed as well because they weren't allowed to open during that time. I had my hair quite long and no color.

Thankfully I have naturally wavy hair and all I have to do is wash it and comb it and I’m good to go! Sorry that happened, hope he repairs the damage

I think you look fabulous and beautiful in the above photo. Once when my husband and I first married, he put on a store bought color that made my hair really too blond. I didn't like it. I had a hair dresser tone it down.

I hope he can fix it for you. I just leave mine grey or use bright temporary colors

I always colored my hair myself and have tried many different shades, Then I wanted to save money and have not colored it for a long time and thought I would wind up with my grandmother's and mom's white hair. My hair think otherwise it is still the mousy brown I had since childhood with a patch of white in my bangs. Go figure. Anyway, I want to compliment you on your photo you certainly look like you are reeling back the years,

Sorry to hear how it turned out when you've been going to him for so long.
I didn't really like my bangs that I got with my last hair cut, but that wasn't the hairdressers fault...I just don't look good with them lol

They told me it would had last 3 months, my hair grows fast, after two weeks it was a mess.
