oh boy, not getting out of here tomorrow

Although I did get to the mailbox and got the car half way down the driveway. There is a big block at the bottom of the driveway where the snowplow threw the snow. I do not have the stamina to clear that whole thing out especially as cold as it has been everything is rock hard. And we are expecting another Noreaster this weekend..That;s just what we need. We did get some radiant heating today, and a bit of snow melted..but it is supposed to go down to 1 tonight and most of the rest of the week not above freezing and in the single digits at night. I don't need anything right now..but probably will by the weekend. I will give a big effort to try to get out of here by Friday, but if I can't I will have to get Instacart of somebody out here...If they will deliver in the snow..looks like snow on Friday. I guess I will have someone dig me out after the second NEaster. This is not good news folks!

It is still very difficult to get around in certain areas, we are dealing with black ice, lots of drifting and piles of snow, etc. Maybe you can plan a delivery for Thursday? I saw that you are supposed to get hit by another storm. Just please stay warm and safe, Snowy.

Thanks, possibly. I would have to arrange to meet them at the end of the driveway. I will do something though if I can't get out. Thank God I bought so much food before the first storm hit

I am gonna shoot for Thursday. There will be a lot of icy chunks that will need to be removed though. We did get a little melting today, and hopefully tomorrow it will be more..

7 inches not that much, but there was a lot of ice mixed in, so it is very slippery and compacted at the bottom of the driveway. We might get more "weather" this weekend so I will get some snow melt if I can find it.

I hope you're able to get what you need somehow. You can be all prepared for emergencies but it becomes awkward if they go on too long.

They said it has the potential to drop even more snow. The only good thing is the temps are going to be somewhat warmer.It isn't for sure that it is going to happen, but seems likely at this point. That is why seems like it might be the best bet to have someone clear the drive after the next storm.

They will if I pay them, but might as well see what the weekend has in store for us. I don't want someone to half to come out twice
