My Internet Is Acting Wonky

Happy Wednesday Everyone! another bitterly cold day but at least the sun is shining. Of course nothing is going to melt but at least it's nice to see a bright sunny sky.
I'm having trouble with my internet this morning. Don't know how much I'll be able to do online. I had the news on the tv earlier and it kept freezing. Frustrating.
I think I'm going to make a big crockpot of soup. I'm really in the mood for a nice big bowl of something warm and satisfying. I'm really in the mood for pea soup and I do have a ham bone in the freezer from Christmas. Just sounds yummy.
After all the snow removal and ice chopping yesterday the mail truck was finally able to deliver the mail. Yippee!! I got this years house property taxes 
Aside from that wonderful news there isn't much else going on. Not complaining. I'm happy for a quiet day and after I get the soup going I'll probably find a book to read. Not thrilled with the one I'm reading so I'll put is aside and find a different one. At least I have enough to choose from.
Before I get booted with my wonky internet, I'm wishing you all a good day and hopefully you have something to smile about

I wish you the best with the internet. I know how that can be. My net can sometimes be as slow as a snail.

@Marilynda1225 I don't doubt it. I have fiber internet that runs underground, but we've been having freezing temps overnight.

I'm sure it's the freezing cold that's causing the internet issues.

I used to feel compelled to finish a book even if I didn't like it but most people say life is too short to waste on a book you aren't enjoying. So I've pretty much adapted to that theory recently. But this book my cousin recommended and loved, my daughter read it and loved it and I can't seem to get into it. I think it's me (the book is The Correspondent). It has all kinds of rave reviews

I am guessing that the issue might be due to bad weather condition. That can be really annoying.
Your warm soup sounds really good. My Wednesday comes to an end. I am congested, feeling under weather and not able to sleep..it's way past my bedtime. I hope to catch some sleep soon.
