The Marine Unit of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) answered an emergency call on Monday January 25 when a 18 year old male who was riding on his jet ski hit a rock in the water that caused him to not be able to move his leg was rescued by the deputies of the HCSO.
The deputies used a vessel to pick up the teenager from the water, get him first aid and get him some more medical help.
I am sure that an eyewitness called 911 to ask for help when the teenager fell into the water which saved his life.

@Deepizzaguy True, and any foot injury is scary to me.

That is what I was thinking since getting a foot injury in the water is scary.

He was probably going too fast and couldn't avoid the rock.

I also hope as well that his jet ski was not damaged.
