I Decided To Take Another COVID Test

Which is silly, really, because if the old test I have doesn't test for the new strains, it's going to say negative again anyway. But this really "feels" like COVID to me. And maybe I test too early Tuesday where it wouldn't have shown up yet. At least it makes me feel proactive that I'm trying to figure out what is wrong with me and do something about it. Gotta wait 15 minutes for results. Will update you here when I read the test. UPDATE: Results still negative. Must be good old-fashioned cold or flu.

I’ve only been tested once, and it was negative. It was the time I ended up in the ER when my magnesium was depleted. I’ve never had something go so far up my nose in my life.

I've been tested for Covid twice: Once at the ER when I was having a severe allergic reaction. I kept telling them I didn't have Covid but they wouldn't believe me and insisted on sticking the testing swab through my skull. It hurt so bad it brought tears to my eyes! I told that nurse I wanted to give her the same test when she tried to tell me it didn't hurt! I was PISSED OFF! The second time was at a local testing center. They handed me the swab and told me they needed a "sample" from as deep in my nostrils as I could comfortably go with it. I swabbed my nose myself and put the swab into the bag. The nurse snapped the stick off and sealed the bag. I was negative both times.

At least that is good news, I hope you find a way to feel better, My mom swore by really hot buttered milk and a splash of cognac and then into bed and sweat it out,

Good news on the negative result. Hopefully it’s just a short-lived cold and nothing more.

Rather concerning as you are traveling soon, right? I know that no one wants to be sick on a vacation!
