Are you going to see the Melania documentary?

If your answer is NO then you're in the very large majority. It debuts tomorrow in theaters and almost all of the seats are still empty.
There is actually an ad on Craiglist for the Boston area saying that people can attend this weekend for free *and* they will get paid $50 for sitting through the whole thing.
I wonder who is paying for this--producers or promoters or one of Trump's slush fund PACs? The mainstream media has been predicting for a week that this Melania doc will be an absolute bomb. Amazon paid her $28 million to do it and I read somewhere that the total cost was like $75 million. Predictions are that it will earn $1 and $5 million.

This is just sad. What would make her want to stay with this man? She could have married a less reviled man still with money.
If people watch, I wonder how many will “hate watch”. I know very little about her. It might be interesting, but no one is going to be able to separate her from her husband’s actions.

@NJChicaa — please don’t. She’d get money from the stream.

Maybe they’re using the money Nicki Minaj paid for her gold card to fund it.
Sorry, but $50 is not even enough to pique my interest. Maybe $500…per minute. And I’ll have my hearing aid Bluetoothed to my phone so I can listen to music instead of the movie.
Saw a vicious review online, attributed to Variety: “people on a plane would walk out on this film.”

They'd have to pay me a whole lot more than that to sit through it!

I wonder how many people will go for $50? Probably the homeless and hungry.
