Back in December the FDA determined that the Minnesota-based Gold Star Distribution, Inc. was operating under unsanitary conditions. Such products as Cheerios, Snickers, Pringles, Nutella, Twix, Gummy Bears, Jif Crunchy Peanut Butter were recalled when rodent urine, bird droppings, etc. were found around areas where medical devices, human food, and cosmetic products were held.
On January 22nd the FDA elevated this to a Class II. This means eating any of the products could lead to serious health issues. States affected are Indiana, Norh Dakota and Minnesota.

It's scary how much we depend on places like this.

Oh my oh my! And those are all my favorite. Hopefully those that were imported here are all safe.

The products were only distributed to those three states? We eat Snickers bars maybe twice a year but none of the other stuff.

This is disgusting. I thought those days were over. Have you ever read The Jungle by Upton Sinclair?
