31 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Yes, it's late. Yes, I should be in bed. Yes, I have church in the morning. I just now put Wilderness away for the night until Monday morning. Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Right now, it's 10 F and feels like 9 F. So, it's warming up. Though my computer screen shows temps will drop on Monday. Something must have happened with the weather because we were supposed to have 20s all next week and I saw a couple 30s too. I also saw snow in the forecast. With it getting cold on Monday, something shifted in the atmosphere again. It's been a good day. I didn't do everything I planned, but that's okay. I'm thankful I could get the notifications done this morning here and on WordPress. So that was a good thing. I got to see what you're all doing in your part of the world. I'm thankful I got work done on Wilderness Challenge. What I thought would be an easy edit, turned into a major revision. I just came from an emotional upheaval, and it's not done yet, but it's done enough so I can sleep tonight. So that's a really good thing. That is my day. I even kept my eating limited. I wasn't hungry. I will be tomorrow. What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

Sunday afternoon here. Grateful that we were able to go to church this morning even though the weather was terrible. And I went to buy yarns for a blanket that I'm crocheting now. I started crocheting the blanket right after lunch. I want it done as soon as possible.

I’m thankful we had a safe trip to and from Tulsa, and that we got to see my sister and her family.

Sunday afternoon now here, beautiful sunny day, but cold. I am thankful for the sun, we could walk to the newsstand and get my husband magazines.

As long as it stays brutally cold, I will be thankful for being inside and fairly comfortable.

I'm thankful that my infection is getting better. I'm thankful that the scale is going down. I'm thankful that mother-in-law is adjusting so well to living in Memory Care.

Sounds like a full day there, but that is good since it is doing things you enjoy. Sorry about the cold. I know you want the snow, but the brutal cold I am sure is not as enjoyable. Just hoping the snow stays from here. Been very mild winter here. Could even go out without even a jacket for a couple hours today
