Well, at least for Shubenacadie Sam, due to weather... a forecast that calls for yet another winter storm in her home province, Nova Scotia. Wiarton Willie in Bruce County, Ontario, and Fred la Marmotte in Quebec’s Gaspésie region, are still set to go. Meanwhile, Lucy the Lobster in the southwestern Nova Scotia community of Barrington is also set to make her predictions.

Staten Island Chuck predicts six more weeks of winter and he has an 85% accuracy rating... Not that I believe any of them... But they're still fun.

I didn't know about him, but he can keep all the snow to himself.

Well, both Willie and Fred did their duty and didn't see their shadows. Poor Sam, of course, was snowed in by blizzard conditions, so technically, she didn't see her shadow, either.

Cleveland's version said spring will come early; but Punxatawney Phil was correct by saying that there will be 6 more weeks of this horrendous winter!!!
