Now I have lost my brand new charging cable

I bought a new charger today
For me phone.
I used it
Now for some reason I cannot work out
I cannot find the cable
It's a fast charging cable
Quite expensive at £8
And Yvonne is telling me what I know
I did indeed have it last
I even wound a bit of red insulating tape round it so Yvonne knew it was for my phone
Every day, I lose something, break something or mess something up
I never used to be like this.
Ok, I have always been nice

The hassle we had over charging cables was unreal
One blew up my Samsung charger because it shorted out
So I used the power bank to charge my phone for over a week
Only got this cable 12 hours ago!
It's a compact apartment
Where is my bloody cable
