Good Morning: Tuesday Weather Falls Short of Yesterday's!

Good Morning everyone! I was looking forward to another beautiful day here in Mississippi, but I woke up to see rain in our forecast that popped up out of the blue. Yesterday's weather was gorgeous after 2 weeks of weather that belonged up North! We had a high of 64 and lots of sunshine! We have been in the teens and 20's for the last 2 to 2.5 weeks. We are not used that that in the South!! I do have to be thankful that we did not lose electricity in the ice storm or at any time during this harsh weather. We have rain showers in the forecast here today. It looks to be just a light rain, but it is solid overcast outside and looks very gloomy. We are supposed to get in the low 60's today, but I am not too sure that will happen. It feels colder than it actually is with all the dampness. I guess I will have to find some indoors entertainment today which will be in the form of chores, tagging things for the flea market, getting my schedule arranged, and working on some new Ebay listings! Being up in the north we are a far cry from 60. High is going to get to 23F, but it is sunny like a nice summer day, just won't be getting the shorts out and heading to the beach anytime soon. :)

We have had lows in the teens and 20's for over 2 weeks, so it was time for a little break!!

Today is 56 degrees and sunny, but tomorrow it will be colder. However, Thursday through Saturday should be in the mid 70s. I have not been feeling well, but managed to have lunch with my dad, and then I did several reviews. I hope to get a few more done if I have no trouble keeping lunch down. Sorry, TMI!

Just working online and another treacherous walk to the car, but since it will be 41 later I am hoping it won't be too bad.

It’s warming up little by little. We are in need of rain here. May get some late tonight. I’m trying to keep hubs on the couch today.

We've been in the single digits or at least below freezing for two to three weeks with frequent snowfalls, especially at night. Yesterday we reached 55F but it didn't melt off much of the over a foot of snow we got during that big storm. Today we're at 40F and most of the snow/ice are gone now. I'm definitely ready for spring to arrive! The next two weeks should see us in the mid-50s to mid-60s which will be wonderful daytime temps while we'll still see freezing temps overnight. We have out car in the garage right now and the mechanics are trying to find the reason the battery is being drained all the time. (We've gotten 4 new batteries for it since the motor was rebuilt last winter.) I'm staying inside until all the snow/ice has melted off and will probably read one of the books I've downloaded to my phone lately.

Here we have to catch the weather. Tomorrow promises to be in the 70s and I will wash my hair and then it will go down again,

I'm glad you didn't lose power during those frigid temps! Even down in here in Florida I would have been dying if our power went out during all this cold weather.
