Mother-in-law is telling the other son and his wife different tales about her experience at Memory Care than she's telling us. We called to verify her stories with the staff at Memory Care and none of them were true. She's just confused and has the terrible disease of Alzheimer's. But the other son is worried about her and whether or not she's bitter at him for being in the facility, etc. So tonight my hubby is going to explain, once again, that her tales of woe are to be expected and that the Memory Care facility carefully documents everything that goes on and it's just going to be good days and bad days for her for the rest of her life.
