Daffodils

There are clumps of mini daffodils budding in my yard. Gives me hope and a smile. This is crazy early for daffodils. Another crazy and kind of sad notice that my hubby discovered today. A friend emailed him and told him that she had had dinner with some friends. The friend decided to talk about a safe subject while they dined. Peace. And the Buddhist monks. The sweet marvel of their dedication. Their friends said WHO? The friends said they watched FOX tv and the monks march event was not featured there. So they received dinner and an education. And peace.

We had miniature daffodils at our last house and I'd bring some in every spring when they started blooming. There were also grape hyacinths in that yard and I'd bring some of them in when I brought in the daffodils and put both in water glasses around the house. This house didn't have any flowers in the yard when we moved in. We've talked about planting some and did plant some in the front flowerbed but I've become allergic to those so can't bring them inside or I'll have to use epi-pens the entire time their flowers are in the house and until Pretty vacuums to get rid of the pollen they spread. *shrug*

@sallypup Yes, they are. Pretty is always telling me that she's going to put me in a plastic bubble so I quit having allergic reactions. (Honestly, I get tired of her saying that. She tells the doctor that every time I have another allergic reaction.)

@DaddyEvil That sounds irritating. I try to not bug my hubby about his not eating sometimes cause it brings him back to when his Mom hassled him. PTSD from Mom?

@DaddyEvil Grape hyacinth are lovely flowers. You need to live in a bubble?

I'm surprised sometimes at what some channels don't cover.

I've seen pictures of the monks on my news blips that I get each morning. We have too much s**w and ice to have daffodils.

I return up north to late to see my daffodils in full bloom. It’s amazing how some programs are not carried by certain stations.

It’s a bit early for daffodils here but we have some in the garden that come every year. They were already planted when we came to the house 6 years ago.

I'm not hearing anything about the monks on the tv here. I only knew because you told me. I only saw one online news article about them after that
