I wanted to go into the city..but a lot of the roads on the county south of here which I have to go thru to get there are still a mess. I am not going to risk slipping and sliding for a non essential trip. I will g into the big town tomorrow though. Maybe I can get a desperately needed haircut. I also have been dying to go to the bank.

That is the good thing about fog. It usually burns off as the day warms.

@LadyDuck Sometimes it does until the sun gets a foothold. It is pretty and sunny here today. Not super cold at the moment. I am just using a space heater.

Thanks, it is going to get freezing again this weekend, and travel will be dangerous if things freeze. I will go out to the city next Tuesday when it should be close to 50 degrees!!! Woohoo

Our roads are finally mostly clear, for which I am very thankful. It's good that you won't be taking a chance unless you know it's safe to go. Hopefully, the roads and the driveway will be better soon for you.

We haven't warmed up yet but supposedly it will happen in a few days. Thursday morning, it is supposed to be below zero here again. Also, frozen fog and some snow. Well, it's winter time, and this is Illinois, so I should just expect it. I am used to the snow, but rarely is it ever so bitter cold for such a long string of days here.

Yes, I didn't have any real problems when I went out the other day but I was on main well traveled roads.
