Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 15 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 31. Ugh. I miss summer. I have work today as usual. It will be a busy day of lecturing and trying to catch up on grading. It is college sweatshirt day so it will be the 3rd day this week that I'm wearing jeans. Some people think that it is unprofessional for teachers to wear jeans but that is a load of crap. What I wear doesn't impact how I do my job or whether students respect me. What I DO does that. (and tomorrow is Friday so of course jeans!) After work I will be busy prepping for tomorrow's Souper Bowl fundraiser. I am making macaroni and cheese and lemon pound cake. I wish I was one of those people who could just sign up to bring in napkins or plates or something. What's everyone else up to today?

Good morning. It is 28F with thick clouds in my part of Missouri. Our high is supposed to reach 52F today. I've never seen a problem with a teacher wearing jeans, as long as they aren't full of holes or falling off of you. My brother is coming over this afternoon to take Pretty shopping. Other than that, I don't think we're planning anything today. I hope you have a good day.

It is 32 F right now, but should get up to 64 F. I hope I feel like getting out, and doing more than making appointments. Who the heck cares if teachers are wearing jeans. Teaching is hard enough; let them be comfortable.

Hopefully your day goes well and you're able to catch up on some grading. Like you I do have work. It's another day of work from home today. Tomorrow I'm at the office. Right now it's -12C/10F. It's a bit cooler with the windchill apparently. Definitely looking forward to warmer weather.

Jeans don't bother me as long as they are neat. I wish, as a student, we were allowed to wear jeans to school instead of dresses. Today I have my doctor's appointment.
