Darn it! How is your afternoon going?

Mine too, would you believe I am two feet from getting out again, but the tree is in the way, and I can't get enough traction to get turned around. past it.. My snow shovel is also buried in ice. It had been standing up beside a tree. I have a few regular shovels in the back...but I might have to call over my neighbor again..if he is around... I hate this. I am going to try to get an instacart order Sunday. They might be able to help me get past the tree too, and into the dry space where I can just back out the rest of the way. You should have seen me with my hammer trying to free the snow shovel. I looked like Yukon Corneilus Sans the beard!

@Marilynda1225 Well, I was out Monday, but I was pointed down the hill. I couldn't get back in that position.

@snowy22315 OMG what a fiasco for you trying to get out. You certainly paint a hilarious picture even though I know it isn't funny and how frustrated you must be. I do hope you can get out and down your driveway.

I'm over being stuck in my damn driveway. I may call the neighbor tomorrow. If they aren't around I will get a tow for Monday..even if it is out to the street.

@LindaOHio Once, but by a neighbor. He didn't do the whole thing.

It has been really miserable most of January and into Feb. I fear it is not over quite yet.

@snowy22315 You'd be right. It's not even close. Febuary might be our shortest month, but it's the worst in terms of Winter weather for most people. While we've been known to have mild moments (we'll be flirting with 80 next weekend), we're in the deapths of winter. Spring offically starts at the end of march.

We are in for one cold weekend, but fortunately improves next week..until the next disaster.

I could go for a big dose of warm and sunny about now.

It is slushy in spots but thing protected by the shade of the house are still frozen. Plus it is going to be horribly cold this weekend..Especially Sat I thinkm

Thanks, I am going to try again tomorrow. It will still be above freezing so the melting should continue..at least a little bit.
